1. Define drug?
Ans. Any substance that can enter body and change body normal function is known as drug.
2. What is pharmaceutical drug?
Ans. Any chemical substance used in the diagnosis ,cure treatment,or prevent of disease and some drugs make person to dependent on them or make addicted the person
3. What is synthetic drugs?
Ans. Those drugs which not occur directly by nature they make in laboratory is known as synthetic drug Pharmaceutical companies produce aspirin.
4. Write important medicinal drugs usage?
Ans.
- Analgesics (painkillers) reduce pain for example aspirin, paracetamol etc.
- Antibiotics kill bacteria and treat bacterial infections e.g. tetracycline, cephalosporin
- Sedatives induce sedation by reducing irritability or excitement e.g. diazepam.
- Vaccines are used to develop immunity against viral and bacterial infections e.g. vaccines against small pox, whooping cough, hepatitis B.
5. Which drug use for skin infection?
Ans. Antiseptic use for the skin infection.
6. What is narcotics?
Ans. Strong painkiller it use with other less pain killer like paracetamol to relief with chronic diseases like cancer
7. Write a short note on hallucinogens?
Ans. Hallucinogens are the drugs that cause changes in perception, thought, emotion and consciousness.The group includes mescaline, which comes from a cactus and psilocin, which comes from a mushroom.
8. What is Marijuana?
Ans. Use as a smoking.It make from dry leaves,stems,flowers.
9. Define antibiotics?
Ans. Those medicine which use to kill bacteria or reduce bacterial growth is known as antibiotics.
10. What is different between bactericidal and bacteriostatic antibiotics?
Ans. Bacterialcidal are those that kill bacteria completely bacteriostatic that slow the Bactria growth or function.
11. What is antigen?
Ans. Special type of protein which defense body against germs or improve immune system against diseases.
12. Define vaccine?
Ans. Vaccine is a thing which use against bacteria that kill bacteria or slow down it growth.
